Many years ago, I completed a commercial apprenticeship at Freudenberg and followed that up with a business management degree. Since then, I've worked in several central and operational HR departments and am currently based in Shanghai, where I head the Human Resources department at the Corporate Service Center Asia. It's an exciting and challenging task that is great fun.

My decision to study business management at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in cooperation with Freudenberg wasn't only influenced by Freudenberg's values. The mandatory study period abroad - in my case Taiwan - and periods spent in various departments showed me that Freudenberg is a responsible and cosmopolitan company.

Andreas Fischer   

During my training as an industrial clerk at Freudenberg I gained an insight into many different departments including Accounting, Marketing, Controlling and Sales. Once I'd finished training I started working for Air Filters Customer Service. I was promoted to head of department after only eight years.

The Young People Program gave me the ideal start at Freudenberg. I learnt so much in such a short time working on international projects with very different content and challenges, I could contribute my ideas and implement the solutions. And best of all, I could choose which projects in Germany and abroad I wanted to participate in.
