Responsibility
As a family-owned, values-based technology group, success for Freudenberg is financial success as well as fulfilling the company’s responsibility for society. The two goals have been inextricably linked since the company’s founding.
Responsibility for society encompasses five areas at Freudenberg:
- Sustainability
- Health, Safety and Environmental Protection
- Corporate Citizenship
- Compliance
- Employees and Diversity
These areas are also anchored in our Values and Principles as well as the Code of Conduct.
The Freudenberg Group’s Guiding Principles are value for customers, leadership, responsibility, innovation, people, and long-term orientation.
Our Guiding Principle for Responsibility

Fairness and integrity guide our conduct amongst ourselves, toward our business partners and toward the general public.
