Our employees are experts in leading technological products, services and solutions that are used in thousands of applications and about 40 market segments. Our seals, vibration-control components, technical textiles, filters, cleaning technologies, special chemicals and medical-technology products make a valuable contribution to the success of our customers around the world. The company has been family-owned down to the present, and the values of founder Carl Johann Freudenberg have kept the company grounded. We have been true to them since 1849.

Freudenberg showed strong earnings growth during its recently concluded fiscal year. Sales and investments in research and development both continued to grow as well.

Values

Freudenberg is still family-owned, making it independent, long-term oriented and responsible in its actions. What guided our company founder Carl Johann Freudenberg still applies today.
His “Allgemeinen Betrachtungen” (General Observations) from 1897 are the inspiration for our current Business Principles, which form the basis for our Guiding Principles. Every employee is an ambassador for these values and pledges to uphold an internal Code of Conduct that governs practical workplace issues such as compliance, workplace safety, health and environmental protection.
