If you give your consent, Matomo uses cookies that enable us to analyze your use of our website more precisely and to draw additional conclusions about user behavior on our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transmitted to a Matomo server in the EU and stored there.

In either case, IP addresses are anonymized (IPMasking), so individual users cannot be identified.

(2) Legal basis: Data processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. In doing so, we are pursuing our legitimate interest in optimizing our website for our external presentation.

(3) Recipients: The information generated about your use of this website is transmitted to a server in the EU and stored there. The servers are provided by InnoCraft Ltd and its subprocessors, respectively. For more information, see https://matomo.org/matomo-cloud-privacy-policy.

Matomo Tag Manager does not set any cookies or collect any personal data. Rather, it merely serves to manage other services, such as Matomo Analytics. These services may in turn collect data.

For more information, please visit https://matomo.org/faq/tag-manager/faq_26538/.

§9 hCaptcha

We use the hCaptcha security service (hereinafter "hCaptcha") on our website. This service is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a Delaware US Corporation ("IMI"). hCaptcha is used to check whether user actions on our online service (such as submitting a login or contact form) meet our security requirements.

To do this, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters a part of the website with hCaptcha enabled.

For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website or app, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to IMI. hCaptcha analysis in the "invisible mode" may take place completely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: Our online service has a legitimate interest in protecting the service from abusive automated crawling, spam, and other forms of abuse that can harm our service or other users of our service. Our online service needs to ensure that it is interacting with a human, not a bot, and that activities performed by the user are not related to fraud or abuse.

IMI acts as a "data processor" acting on behalf of its customers as defined under the GDPR, and a "service provider" for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

For more information about hCaptcha’s privacy policy and terms of use, please visit the following links: https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy and https://www.hcaptcha.com/terms.

Only after you play the videos, will the data listed in paragraph 2 be transferred. We have no influence on this data transfer.

Through your visit to the website, YouTube will be informed that you have opened on the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data named in Section 4 of this declaration will be transmitted. This will happen regardless of whether you are logged in to a YouTube user account, or if there is not user account at all.

(2) Legal basis: The processing of the data is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.

(3) Recipients: Recipients of the data may be technical service providers. Your data will be transmitted to YouTube (Google LLC). Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in the privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights and privacy settings.

(4) Third country transfer: Google LLC is based in the USA. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the USA. An adequate level of protection is therefore guaranteed for certified US companies. The certification of Google LLC can be viewed at the following link: Certification.

(6) Provision prescribed or required: The provision of your personal data is voluntary, based solely on your consent.

(7) Withdrawal of consent: You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for the surveys at any time with effect for the future.

(8) Profiling: If you are logged into Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want your data immediately assigned to your account, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube will store the data as a user profile and use it for promotional purposes, market research and/or the user-friendly design of its website. Such assessments are primarily made to provide tailored advertisements (even for users who are not logged in) and to inform other users in the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of a user profile; however, you must address these objections to YouTube.

§11 Usercentrics Consent Management

Our website uses Usercentrics (Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany) for consent management. This tool sets a technically necessary cookie to store your cookie consents. The cookie stores the consent you gave when you entered the website. If you wish to withdraw this consent, simply delete the cookie in your browser. When you re-enter/reload the website, you will be asked for your cookie consent again. Further information on the processing of data by Usercentrics can be found here: Usercentrics Privacy Policy.

§12 LinkedIn (Tracking)

(1) Nature and purpose of processing: “Tailored Audiences” and “Conversion Tracking” by LinkedIn offer the opportunity to target existing users and customers who have visited the Freudenberg website with relevant campaigns. This is done by LinkedIn using a website tag to store anonymized user data. When a user visits our website, a LinkedIn cookie is placed in the browser.

At LinkedIn, you can decline interest-based advertising here. Please note that rejection of such advertisements will not remove any ads from the pages you visit. It simply means that the ads you are shown are not necessarily tailored to your personal interests. If you are not a member of LinkedIn, you will find the Cookie Privacy Policy.

(2) Legal basis: The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

(3) Recipients:  Recipients of the data may be technical service providers. Your data will be transmitted to LinkedIn.

For more information on data processing by LinkedIn, please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy.

(4) Third country transfer: LinkedIn is based in the USA. For the USA, there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission. An adequate level of protection is therefore guaranteed for certified US companies.

You can find the data protection information in  here.

(2) Legal basis: The legal basis for data processing when conducting "online meetings" is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as the meetings are conducted in the context of contractual relationships. If there is no contractual relationship, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Here, too, our interest is in the effective conduct of "online meetings".

(3) Recipients: Personal data processed in connection with participation in "online meetings" will generally not be disclosed to third parties unless it is intended for disclosure. Please note that the content of online meetings, as well as face-to-face meetings, is often used to communicate information with customers, prospects or third parties and is therefore intended for disclosure. Further Recipients: The provider of "Microsoft Teams" or "Zoom" necessarily receives knowledge of the above-mentioned data insofar as this is provided for in the context of our order processing agreement with "Microsoft Teams" or "Zoom".

(4) Third-country transfer: "Microsoft Teams" and "Zoom" are services provided by providers from the USA. Personal data may therefore also be processed in a third country. An adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by the conclusion of the so-called EU standard contractual clauses with the providers. Further information can also be found in Zoom's privacy policy and in Teams' privacy policy.

(5) Storage period: We generally delete personal data when there is no need for further storage. A requirement may exist in particular if the data is still needed in order to fulfil contractual services, to check and grant or ward off warranty and, if applicable, guarantee claims. In the case of statutory retention obligations, deletion is only considered after the expiry of the respective retention obligation.

(6) Provision prescribed or required: The provision of your personal data is voluntary. We can only offer the webinar and hold meetings if we can carry out the associated processing.

(7) Right to object: Please read the information about your right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR below.
